Wearing skullcandy headphones while skiing

nope. they sponsor music and sound proffesionals. sorry, im not gonna support a company with an inferior product just cause they give some pro skiers some free headphones. sorry, im not that easily convinced.

i dont understand why anyone would want to ski with nice ass headphones. Skullcandys are perfect for skiing. The sounds not that bad nothin special tho but they do have a good warranty so if you fuckem up when your skiig you can just replace them.

Yeah, I got some fuckin ill noise-cancelinmg audio technica headphones a few weeks ago and they sound better than my friends Bose headphones. Cost like 40 bucks less too. It's all about brand name

they are indeed trendy but i dont were them for that reason. i am from park city and have a friend who works for them and hooks me up with free headphones. a lot of kids from utah get them for free or cheaper than retail. its just most of you east cost kids who are too worried about how steezy you look. plus they have a life time warranty.besides you dont need super good expensive headphones to ski with

i agree totaly. but i rarley fall on my head anyway. and only ski with my listening headphones like 1 in every 6 times i ski. but i still have a nice pair of regular earbuds.

Who really cares about perfect sound quality when skiing? Skullcandy's dont have the best quality but they are the best headphones for skiing. They break u can just replace them and they're steez, perfect for skiing

I have scullcandy Icons that i wear sometimes when I ski, the sound quality isn't amazing but they are cheap so I'm not afraid of breaking them, making them good for skiing

ding ding ding!!!!

seriously...any electronics store will have 10x better than skullcandy for the same price if not less than!

but yea iv bought from skullcandy in the past and thier product is ok, it just seems like they coulda spent a little more time/money researching and experimenting to make them more durable and better sound quality for them chargin $50+

what? no thats not what the paper said with my phones. it says we give u a lifetim warranty1 no matter what your doing! so we give you 50% off your purchase of the same product if you break yours.

sopmething along those lines where u have to pay 50%

yea but the reason that skullcandy is better than shitty chinese owned companies is 1.American owned 2.Created by a skier 3.For the price they are the best because of the warrinty 4. They look so much better and they aren't boring as fuck as sony. Also they are not over chargin there products they are trying to make enough money to stay open and compete with the gay chinese companies

Man, I have these, really comfortable, they worked great for a year or so, now they are kinda crap, but for ten buck

i hate my scullcandy headphones, the sounds good and they look cool, but the lowriders just dont stay on your head, it would work if i was skiing and had the strap, but they dont even stay on when i put my head down if im in class. and its not even like a have a small head, i wear a 7 3/8 new era hat. there just way to loose

i was thinkin about the skull cnady being not that good issue and i noticed that you can get head phones that have the same frequencys for half the price maybe even less depending on the model. but then i thought you can buy a basic tee shirt for less than one that fits exactly the same but has a ski company name written on it and this is the same idea- they aren't amazing but they are way cooler to look at and they market to skiiers. which is why i'd buy some and i'm proud to wear the ones i got for free from a subcription offer.

ive got the skullcandy rasta earbuds. i love them cause they stay in and honestly...who doesnt love rasta colors

I have used these for probably 4 or five years through maybe 6 pairs, and they are perfect for skiing, biking, skating, hiking, you name it.

The full metal jackets are the greatest skiing headphone ever. The in ear design really helps with the noise reduction and bass. They are full alluminum and the cable is silicon or some kind of unbreakable rubber material. Small, snug in your ear, and has a volume thing attached right to the cable so you can easily turn it down when you want to talk. Near impossible to break, first they are metal, second, they are small.

I've got the EXACT same setup. I love my 700s, they're fucking bomb proof. Well, not bomb proof obviously, but so durable and SUCH good quality. I would ski with them, but they're pretty heavy, so that's my only complaint. Though, my earbuds work just fine.

I have a bunch of friends who ride with skullcandys and they love them. After having some pretty gnar falls, they're still holding up, so as of right now I can't say anything bad about skullcandys, but I'm willing to bet I can say so many more good things about sony.

i made my own tune ups i ujust cut a litle whole on the botom of my ear thing then stuck some old buds in there then i swewed them up and it works great with nothign in my ear

and i have the sony 300s and i think that they are sick great sound quality and looks good for 60-70$ good price
