How many peopple wear helmets? do you wear a hat or anything underneath? Recently ive been noticing cuys wearing caps under helmets.

I got a giro 9 and i reckon its a lot better than going without, depending on the type of skiing, but i feel a lot better and more confident,(making me ski better) with one on

Thoughts?

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.' I been sayin' that shit for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ass. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherfucker before you popped a cap in his ass.

I just got a new helmet a week or so ago. It looks really goofy and I can't wear any cool crocheted hats with it, but then I went out yesterday and landed on my head twice. All I had at the end of the day was a little headache. I'm quite happy with my investment.

'Today I washed my shirt with my washboard abs. I didn't even have to take it off, I just poured water on the stain and scrubbed it on my abs.' (My little brother)

'I'm in his nigger crew' (my little brother in response to my statement that he was in my 'digger crew')

'My knee hurts' (Jeff Merat after grinding a lunch table for an hour instead of sitting in the ski patrol shack for his torm mcl and acl which he got earlier that day.)

'I'm not asking for any help, just maybe for you to get off your ass.'(my dad)

Well.. I wear a helmet sometimes.. I'd say about 40% of the time depending on what i'm skiing and where I'm skiing. If i'm in the park its on, if I'm on some tough slopes its on. Other than that its off because I'm just out cruising.

there was a study done a few years ago by a helmet company and the odds of getting head injuries are the same with or without a helmet. this is because when people wear helmets, they are more confident and believe themselves to be near-invinsable and do crazy things and inevitably, get hurt(which has been true in my case)

every serious cuncussion i have had, i got with a helmet on. i still wear a helmet, i'm just a lot smarter about it

i might try and sport a baseball hat under my black hi fi, i competely flattened the brimm, and it fits pretty well, and i don;t get a gap between the hat and goggles, i think it looks aight hi fi with a visor/brim

People that put a helmet on and think they are invincible are just plain morons. Maybe its a good thing they are getting hurt, get their genes out of the gene pool anyway. If you put a helmet on and suddenly think you can do a 200 foot switch cork 7....you deserve to die. Every last one of you.

Helmet. Why wouldn't ya? It's like a seatbelt for your head.

Some people only see that I'm white ignoring skill cause I stand out like a green hat with an orange bill...

yeah im more confident with a helmet

i have participated in sports that require helmets all my life(moto, bmx), so it doesn't really phase me. I wear the K2, it was the most comfy. Beanies make my head sweat anyway, the K2 is all nice and vented, but the ear flaps keep my ears warm. Ski helmets weigh nothing, feeling cool in your favorite hat just isn't worth it.

helments all the way. im rocking a bl, no one should ski without a helment. it seems liek people dont wear them doing urban rails, but that is where some of the nastiest falls seem to happen

thanksgiving is my favorite holiday

i bought a helmet when I started racing and have never really gone without it since. I dont race anymore but I sill wear a helmet alot of the time. Its more comfy and warm than anything else

buying brand new skis and using them on rails is like buying a new car and driving into telephone poles.
