We should be able to edit posts

ya i agree a 15-20 second edit period, but other than that, people could take back stuff that makes them look like assholes, and we like to know who the assholes are
 
reread the post yourself

and no editing is a bad idea. If someone quoted you and then you edited it to something completley diffierent it could cause hell.
 
Dude, the lack of editing brought you faunt, among other classics. It needs to stay that way, its part of NS.

yeah maybe after max 30 seconds because sometimes i realize that my posts are just messed up and impossible to read haha
 
^ yeah thats the NS way though..i have wanted to delete posts and threads many times, but its funny when you get owned by half the website for being a dick.
 
well... maybe re-read what you typed in the box where you type it? It's not that hard and it takes only about 5 seconds..

I see no reason to not have a preview button. It could be right next to the reply button so you would only have to press it when you want. It would still allow for hilarious fawnts too.
 
This is a suggestion that comes up all the time. A few good solutions were suggested:

1) Editing available within 1 minute of posting

2) A "Preview" option before posting threads

This would fix a lot of the problems with posting photos and links and stuff. I think these are seriously good suggestions that should be looked at!
