Without snowboard factories, i really think freeskiing is what it is today. Almost all of the newer ski companies are manufactured in snowboard factories, IE armada, 4frnt etc. Snowboarders are still assholes, but we do owe em that much.

actaully arn't most snowboards produced by ski manufactures? Ie. Im pretty sure Elan makes Forum, Armada, M3......

Snowboarders were the influence for many of our tricks today. As long as they aren't being gay, I have no problems with snowboarders.,

Skiing is not on the same level as Snowboarding...snowboarding has been like this since '98. We still have a couple more years.

Theres no need to rush to be on the same level as snowboarding, we are different sports and we need to worry about our sport not someone elses.

well im not worried about bieng at the same skill level, but what i meant was its cool to ride with them and for them to ride with us its all about having fun more so than it ever was.

but maybe thats just my experience whatever,i like fun

I like riding with boarders, I agree as we/you get better more boarders want to ride with you.

I think with our sport, because snowboarding has already gone through what we are doing, we progress with new tricks and style, were snowboarding didn't progress like that. We are also constently comparing our selves to snowboarding, because our skiing in general has been critzed so much by them. I think that we now have proggresed enough where snowboarders respect us, that we no longer need to worry about how we compare to them and now we can take our sport in whatever direction we want, and take it at an pace we want.
