ehh, they have too much information on the skis. I don't want to know the dimensions of my skis when I buy them, nor what the topsheets look like.

One ski, one size, no pic of actual product and a jank website. NS lines up.

I think it's the sense of mystery and total lack of any information that has us all lined up. NS loves a good enigma

Just what I want when I buy skis, as little possible info on them as possible. Perfect

People downvoted the fuck out of me in my other thread when I said they needed to tell us the flex pattern and show us the rocker profile on the site lol

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks there is too little info about the ski on the site

I think this is a cool company, and the skiers they are sponsoring are dope. They do exist, pics have been posted online. And I think the minimal marketing is cool - all of the gearheads in this thread aren't the target audience for this ski, they never were.

But there is no way I am buying these. For one, in all of the footage I've seen of them they look wicked chattery. Super soft/floppy noses and tails, tons of the footage of guys skiing on them they wheelie hardcore on a lot of landings. Granted vishnus have the same problem, but vishnus are a completely different shape, and also have bamboo in the core, whereas these jetskis are just poplar? Idk if 100% poplar is a good to go core material.

tbh man they probably do. 180 works for most park skiers. too short for me but I was trying to not be a "I SKI ON LONG SKIS BRO!!" - type hardo hahahahaha

also this company just started out, and I think a classic blunder most new ski companies make is pumping out tons of different skis in tons of different lengths. The way vishnu has done it is really smart: start with one ski, then gradually expand.

Totally agree with this. def a strange strategy to see, but just focus on one ski, make it right make it good, then go from there

also 180 ain't big enough for a park ski bossman? you must be massive. huge

I'm not that big I just ski fast

If you are a ski company and you only have enough money for one length of park skis then I think 180 is perfect. For shorter guys it shouldn't be too long to work with, for taller guys it shouldn't be too short to work with

Revision skis part two ???

Hopped on the website and thought the exact same thing. They bought all the old stock of talismans and spray painted a new logo on em

Skiing needs brands like this. Watch...before you know it they'll have a range of ski models and it'll be a household name. Props to whoever is behind this.

Since you brought it up you should buy them and tell us how they are. Especially if it'll kill you if you don't obtain the information.

100% agree. I think it's dope. Yeah.. there's a bunch things I would have done differently (especially in terms of the website) but I totally see the appeal of doing whatever the fuck you want because you think it's cool. It's what Jason's been doing since the beginning and has hopefully encouraged other people to do so as well.

Unfortunately, doing what you think is cool doesn't always translate into a sustainable business, but whatever their intention for style, size, sales, etc, I hope it works. The more small companies in skiing the better.

Also, for the record, a 96mm waisted, 180cm long ski is the perfect place to start. Definitely hits the largest quantity of skiers... but also damn, I want to know more specs so bad, haha. Very excited for them and to see where this goes.

It’s one of the smartest things they could have done because it’s basically free advertising they are building up so much hype around there product for free

It’s a brand started by a bunch of ski bums probably just to fund their street skiing projects, not sure what else y’all want. I would have given a little bit more info if I was selling them but it’s not like they’re trying to be the next Armada. Fuck it’s not like they have even done any traditional advertising (outside of snovoid) to annoy you either.

Really smart way of marketing imo, the gear nerds wont like it but having limited info wraps it in a mysterious kinda vibe. Seems like a straight no bullshit ski supporting some sick dudes.
