WE ARE ALL SUPER FUCKED!!!!!!!!!

hurricane gonna pick up all the oil then it will get lite on fire and we will have a swirling vortex of doom consuming the gulf coast.

Some one should definitely get a video of this when it happens

its, crude oil, when mixed with the water they are un able to refine it to ship it out so you can fucken use it in your car, and if they were doing that it would be going to england, not the usa so it doesnt matter either way.

this picture is very, very misleading. This is an image of oil spils and oil waste/ burning. So this is a map of mostly oil spils but the largest one, gulf war oil spil is from sadam burning all the oil, basically everywhere and the sky turned black for like 6 weeks from the smoke, it basically looked like hell, im trying to think of the name of the documentary but i cant think of it, its on youtube btw.

everyone understands your statement, but you are too ignorant to realize that hurricanes sweep up rain from the ocean and carry it large distances before it comes down to the earth surface again. durrrr.

and yes, we are fucked. by we, I mean the human race. southeastern US will fall first, and it will spread from there. goodbye

This happened in austrailia last year- same deal-shallower water. It leaked for 9 months, and took 5 attempts to intersect the well bore with the relief wells. This is so much more progressive then any other situation like this. The relief well from the dd2 is way ahead of schedule- something not released to the media... If they intersect it first attempt- this all could be over by the second week of July. So cross your fingers. I just worked a 90 hr week working on another plan, and am heading offshore next week- we just did 2 years work in 8 days- so trust me, more then you can ever imagine is going on here. Bp just learnt it's a waste of time talking to the media- true.

Is this karmic retribution? The South has sucked so bad for so long, that a methane-oil-tsunami will punish the South, and Southern Mexico, and South Africa. Think about it. All those places suck.

there's a difference between alaskan crude from the exxon valdez and the oil in the gulf of mexico. its much lighter and easier on the environment than that stuff in alaska. not saying its not bad. people hear that its x many times bigger than exxon valdez, but the actual oil isn't as bad as it was up there.

Im hoping to get some Exxon mobil t shirts that say: Exxon Mobil...We're #2!

WOW go to google and type in is, the 2012 thing is second and there are like 4 asking if a celeb is prego and one about facebook charging money

True. Still doesnt matter. Besides hurricanes carrying it, the oil is burned going to the atmosphere (think acid rain)
From the examinerWhen you pour more than a million gallons of toxic chemical dispersants on top of an oil spill, it doesn’t just disappear. In this case, it moves to the atmosphere, where it will travel hundreds, if not thousands of miles from the site of the BP oil spill, in the form of toxic rain.BP’s oil spill-fighting dispersant of choice is Corexit 9500. It has been banned in Europe for good reason. Corexit 9500 is one of the most environmentally enduring, toxic chemical dispersantsever created to battle an oil spill. Add to that the millions of gallons of oil that have been burned, releasing even more toxins into the atmosphere, and you have a recipe for something much worse than acid rain. The European Union Times reports "A dire report prepared for President Medvedev by Russia’s Ministry of Natural Resourcesis warning today that the British Petroleum (BP) oil and gas leak in the Gulf of Mexico is about to become the worst environmental catastrophe in all of human history threatening the entire eastern half of the North American continent with “total destruction”.[/i]The reports adds, "Russian scientists are basing their apocalyptic destruction assessment due to BP’s use of millions of gallons of the chemical dispersal agent known as Corexit 9500 which is being pumped directly into the leak of this wellhead over a mile under the Gulf of Mexico waters and designed, this report says, to keep hidden from the American public the full, and tragic, extent of this leak that is now estimated to be over 2.9 million gallons a day."Oil in the environment is toxic at 11 PPM (parts per million).Corexit 9500 is toxic at only 2.61 PPM. But Corexit 9500 has another precarious characteristic; it’s reaction to warm water.

As the water in the Gulf of Mexico heats up, Corexit 9500 goes through a molecular transition. It changes from a liquid to a gas, which is readily absorbed by clouds and released as toxic rain. The chemical-laden rain then falls on crops, reservoirs, animals and of course, people.

It is futile to believe that we can keep ‘Corexit rain’ from occurring since it has already been released and the molecular transformation has begun. We have set off an unprecedented chain of events in nature that we cannot control.

By releasing Pandora’s well from the depths and allowing it bleed into the sea the unimaginable becomes material.

Yet unlike a bad dream, we will not wake up from this nightmare and find it gone. The BP Gulf of Mexico oil spill will be touching millions of earth’s life forms for uncountable years.

the corexit thing is a hoax started by the internet hoax queen herself scorcha faal and david booth.

you're all idiots for thinking this is even remotely true.

Your thread you made with this info got deleted for a reason, because its fake. Just because you're 13 and think you're smart and love to listen to shit heads preach on the internet about BP, doesn't mean these fake, radical stories are real. Now please, go die in a fire.

Sorry guys, we have our top engineers and scientists working around the clock to fix the situation in the safest most timely manner

it rained dirt in my town a few weeks ago. dirt is even a solid substance.. and yet it came down with the rain? i assume if it can rain dirt, it can rain oil.

dirt is not part of the water cycle. it was already in the air in the form of dust particles. and it gets knocked out of the air by the rain and on to your car, whatever.

i don't even know why i'm addressing your stupidity.
