Ha! To be a really good skier, with how big people are going these days, you should be scared every time you ride. I don't mean quivering in your boots, but you have to understand and respect that skiing/snowboarding carries a very high risk level, especially when you're hitting 60ft+ jumps, boosting 10ft out of a pipe, or billy goating down a rocky face. If you're not scared, you won't let yourself see the risks and will be unaware of the consequences. Being scared is what keeps skiing safe. "Just hucking it" is how people get hurt, and killed, and makes skiers look like a bunch of dumbfucks, which, for the most part, we aren't.
