Way to reduce growth in traffic on site.

Hi

I have a suggestion for the site, regarding the increasing traffic here.

When people want to upload a photo or a videoclip, it should be made possible for them to type in the URL adress of the clip. Not so that the server downloads the clip or photo, but so that the 'source tag' (
) refers to the URL. instead of a file on the server. That way you would save alot of space AND most of all traffic.

I have often uploaded some small insignificant photo to the server, an afterwards, made a
tag in the comment-field so to be able to show photos or videos of of higher quality.

They say it's not cheating if its a different postalcode... Quite fortunate since my street HAS it's own postalcode
 
Then we could get inundated with broken links.

Personaly I believe my short term memory has been affected but that is the main side effect and I also think maybe my short term memory has been affected.
