Waxing

I'm going skiing for the first time of the season tomorrow, and over the whole summer I've been using my backyard setup, so the astroturf has stripped most of the wax off of my skis. I cant find the chunk of wax i have. how necessary will wax be for tomorrow?

I'd recommend you wax them because they are most likely dry and just to keep them fresh.
