wow thats a ton do you use like all temp wax or do you actually get into all the technical shit

all temp mostly but i throw some cold temp in there when its available. i don't really get too tech with it just iron on and scrape off.

i don't like the feeling of dry skis, feels like i have to work to make them glide.

i wax my own skis. i just use all temp wax. never used any spec. temp wax

......because skiing needs a new hair cut

i wax my skis about every 3 days of riding. usually just all temp unless i can get my hands on something specific. the elizabeths are a bitch though, they take like 3 times as much wax as my 1260's cuz they're real big.

my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.

i wax mine on weekends and if its gonna be warm i get warm wax, otherwise all temp

yeah if i wanted to i could get all technical with what type of wax for what type of humidity and the flouro and what type of grind and what brush to use but for down hill theyre just hard and too much work moe than cc skis but yeah im lazy

I wax for Nordic a lot, and obviosly don't spend so much time on my alpine skis because they get beat up pretty bad. I'll use a soft wax and throw them in a hot box about once a week, and wax with a wax suited for the general temperature of the snow after that. I don't grind or use anything hi fluoro as I would with nordic skis. its just not worth it. I have found that the Swix f4 iron on works really well in most all conditions though.

Anyhow has anyone seen the new Fischer JibSkate? It's pretty sic. The first nordic twin tip.

I wax at least once every week or so. During most of the winter I just use all-temp. But when it gets warm I go and buy some warm weather wax because I've found all-temp just doesn't slide as well as warm weather wax. It keeps your skis in way better condition because it keeps your bases from drying out.

Oh yeah and make sure you put a coat of warm, soft wax on you skis over the summer to protect the bases and soak in. Don't scrape it off or brush it out until the fall.

I never waxed my skis this last year.

yeah and if you live in a place where they make their own snow a little bit of graphite wouldnt hurt that snow is sooo dirty its crazy i did a bio project on it once and yeah when the weather gets warm use a warm wax it will make a difference you can tell
