Waxing skis?

I just started waxing my own skis so i don't have to pay my friends. I bought everything: scraper, wax, iron, and nylon brush but the thing is, my mom used the nylon brush to scrub the floor. What were white brustles on the brush now have brown on the end. Is it still safe to use or do i have to get a new brush?

Don't worry about it, it's more about the strength of the bristles than anything else
