well, i used to be a racer but i waxed my friend and my skis yesterday because his wern't sliding rails, but now im scared that im going to get onto a rail and go onto my back instantly...think that will happen?

i have mad trix and he has 1080s and it seems like his skis didnt slide at all compared to mine

i dont think it will matter too much. just remember to put a little more weight on your downhill ski and you should be ok

the wax should just make you slide smoother. the reason your skis slide better than sherman's is probably becuase head uses more of a harder, race base than salomon does.

WHOA WHOA bud you waxed your friend that is something you should keep to your self j/k. it shouldn't matter how much you wax your skis it is how much the rail is waxed.

 
I don't think it affects anything. I have old skis which i used to jib with and they have like no wax on them at all.. And then i got my PE's and hot waxed them and i can hardly stay in one place they are so slick.. Only thing i noticed was the pe's slide much smoother but i didnt feel any less balanced.

I wouldn't worry about but the only thing you can do is hit a small real at first to find out for yourself.
