Wax

I have LINE 1260's and the other day i noticed that when i did the first rail of the day a whole bunch of wax just scraped off.

i can just use my finger nail and take wax off. I dont think thats sopposed to happen.

What should i do?

ive only waxed my skis once when i first got em in like december 07... does waxing really make that much of a difference?

Holy crap man, YES IT DOES!!! Get some wax on those.

If you can scrape wax off with your thumb, that's definitely not right. Hot wax the night before, let it sit overnight, then scrape and buff in the morning.

your supposed to scrape off the wax. tecnically you can ski it off but youll be kinda slow for the first couple runs. nothin to really worry about man.

Scraping is better. When you ski it off it comes off in chunks and rips the wax out of the pores. When it is scraped, it stays it.

ya you have to wait altleast 30 min before you scrape off a hot wax and then you buff them. I found it helps a little to leave the wax on overnight before scraping them but its no big deal

yeah, for best results just..
1) hot wax
2) let sit in cool area for about 1-2 hours
3) scrape the wax off smoothly
4) Brush the surface
5) scrape softly to smooth surface

one fucking sweet wax

and also, rails are basically butt fucking your skis. haha
you cant really rail slide with out damaging your base and edges.
