Wax iron brands

Tbh I would just go to your local thrift store and just get an iron for the low. It’ll do the trick virtually the same as a ski oriented one imop

[tag=189437]@DominatorJacques[/tag] you got any preferences on the non swix brand irons... that are affordable? I find it difficult to get that wax wave going sometimes and wonder if it's just cuz I got a cheapo iron

I've always used Toko T-8. The latest one I got needed a lot of flattening, but they are fine for the price.

It's always good to have a probe thermometer to check iron temperature too.

yeah i'm no expert but i've never had a problem with my $30 demon united mini wax iron and since it's small it's easy to shove in a bag and take it with me

How much do you spend on your skis?

Don't go too cheap on an iron.

$500 I’m probably just gonna get a swix one since I already have some of their stuff and it seems to have good quality

Smart. You don't need the baddest ass one, just a "real" ski iron. Swix good.
