S ski2fast4u Member Dec 8, 2009 #7 having built 3 hot boxes and to do it right and safely it costs about $300 atleast and most of that is in the controlers to keep the temp... secondly it only works with really good wax which costs more $$$....watch out thats all i am saying ..

cool. Active member Dec 19, 2009 #10 pretty unnecessary unless your racing. being a racer only our tech and a couple friends of mine who specialize in speed have hot boxes.
