Wawa park crew probem/funny story

Ive been skiing at wachusett a long time now. Yesterday me and 3 of my friends were skiing there and i forgot my park pass (which is gay and really a little ridiculous) at home. So first run i ride into the park and the guy asks me for my pass so i take off (haha very fun to do). Then second run they weren't ooking so i booked it passed them again, but i heard them say "hey is that fucking punk again". Then 3rd run they were looking got me and were big tough guys and just stared at me when i came in(for about 30 seconds haha)and they asked me for park pass and i told them that i left it at home. And i told them my name and to look it up on there records that i bought one, and he was just a real douchbag about it. So i asked for the manager of the park crew cause i wanted to talk to him cause i thought it was ridicious that i just drove an hour and i cant ski park because i forgot a gay ass park pass. And he was also a douchbag, so i left. This is going to be the last year i buy a centery pass from them. I also called the manger of the mountain and she said that she is going to see what she can do and get back to me.
 
well if you didn't ski off laughing the first few times then maybe they wouldn't have been douschebags to you, just a thought. but either way they should've been able to look up your name cause with other types of season passes, they can honor your pass even if you don't have the actual pass with you
 
wait... what? Youre complaining about how you forgot your park pass? that isnt the mountains problem at all and maybe if you hadnt been how you were about it, they wouldve been a bit nicer to you. How do you expect them to treat you when you run away from them the first time, and blow by them the second time? They're not at fault here at all. Remember your pass and you won't have a problem. I feel like maybe if you talked to them your first run through, and was real respectful, they would of looked you up nicely and it wouldnt of been an issue. Respect gets respect. I dont get how you were expecting them to be respectful to you when you acted as you did.

Sorry if that was overly rude or mean or anything. Im out for the rest of the season as of yesterday so im not in the best mood.
 


I didn't find the story that funny. Perhaps it's just me.

There's no reason for them to be douches to you, although they can keep you out of the park.

 
1. WA park crew is the shit. Nicest dudes you'll meet.

2. They are not assholes and will only ask for your pass if you look or act like a gaper. Hence when you came barreling through and were rude to them, you got asked for your pass.

3. They're just doing their job dude, keeps the park way safer and nicer to ride.

4. Don't act like a dick, be nice and you just might find that things like that won't happen to you.

 
Park passes are one of the best things to happen in parks, keeps gapers out and all the stuff nice, you shouldn't have forgotten your pass.
 
well talking to them on the first run would have be an option if i didn't get kicked out last year when i came and forgot my park pass. And besides those park passes are a joke anyways, i agree they keep alot of people out of the park and it is more controlled. I just fell as if i payed my 5 bucks and watched that video(which is alot just to ride park). I dono i thought that was a little redicious, i drive all the way there pay for a ticket and i can't even ski, yeah i was disrespectful, but the last time i came i didnt even get a run in. I figured if i run from the guy atleast ill get to hit the park once. I guess ive always haven't liked the park crew there, i don't understand how you guys can..
 
you deserved it. grow up a little. if you had been sorry and asked them to check on their list on the first run instead of running away and trying to impress your 12 years old friend, things would have happened differently for sure. And how much is the park pass for 1 day? ask yourself if it was worth not paying and making yourself look like an idiot and being one. Anyways, money should not be a problem because you act like a little kid that doesn't pay for his skiing.

And what will you do next time you go skiing ? bring your pass? if you forget once more, will you be nice with the park staff ?

naw i'm pretty pissed at the park crew, earlier this year i was skiing there with LostCarKeys at night and we were just lapping and filming, and at the 3rd time we entered the park this snowboarder park crew nig asked me if I had a park pass, he didn't ask any of the gaper snowboarders that went in, just me. i explained to him that i hadn't purchased one yet this year (it was december) and explained that i left my wallet in the car so i'd just get it after this run since we'd obviously be lapping that all night. he does not reason with me at all just acts like a douche. i had the camera out about to do a line on the nice long flatbar and he has to be a dick.

it just seemed gay as fuck they wouldn't let me in, when i obviously know the rules of the park, but they let in 9 year old snowboarders that should definitely not be in there.

and to thread maker. it would have been easier to have explained your situation first off than played johnny-hard-to-get the other times. quit being an asshole to people who are trying to make you have more fun.

If they let every fucker without a park pass go in that park then it would probably start to suck or lose its jumps so good for them for enforcing the park pass rule.

You acted like a jackass skiing away from them. They had good reason to be pissed after to skied away multiple times. Remember your park pass next time and stop hating on their park crew and the rational people trying to make you aware of the fact that you are an asshole.
 
Park's not the only place to be on skis...go out and actually make some turns. Work on your actual skiing ability. You forgot your pass, big whoop. People make stupid little mistakes like that all the time. Deal with it.

i think the because of all this hate the lesson learned here is that park passes good

i ski at sugarbush and wish they had them id buy it so fast.

if you had just went to the guy the first time and told him that you left your pass, they prob wouldve checked your name and cleared you, but you def shouldnt have jsut raced by them.

on the contrary, i do think its a little ridic that wachusset requires park passes
 
coming from a mtn that doesnt have apark passes i think they are the greatest thing ever. So much bull shit would be cut out if we had them
 
for one this kid is a huge douche.. respect gets respect you fucking asshole, so yeah you blew by them twice what the fuck did you expect honestly, it's little shit heads like yourself that fuel the stereotypes ski patrol sees jibbers as, fucking punks, which you obviously are, had you stopped the first time, they probably wouldn't have cared and hooked you up, i know they did when i went there and hadn't bought a park pass last year, and about the snowboarders they let by, you probably pissed them off so much they just wanted to fuck you over, i know i would have, had you done the same to me, so learn from your mistakes and get fucked, this story wasn't funny, nor is the park crew at fault

 
the park guys can be some douchebags sometimes. one day this one guy let me through even though i hadnt gotten a pass yet, every run that i did. on like the 5th run, hes with another guy, and the guy asked me if i had my pass. i said "nah, but you guys let me through the first couple runs today." and before i said "ill get one right now though," (and i was really gonna say that) he goes "let you through? who do you think you are? tanner hall junior?" but then i got one, and it was cool after that.

that being said, they are mostly wicked nice. i showed them my park pass the first run without them asking, and they were like "thanks you can just go through the rest of the day" and its fun when im with extreme team (yeah lame name) and we kick snow on them from the lift. one kid took one of the chairs and put the legs on his tails and did a box while sitting on his skis, and they just laughed.

it was your fault that you forgot your park pass, theyre just doing their job. if you didnt just ski by them, im sure they wouldve reasoned with you. you say that he said "hey theres that punk again" like thats a bad thing, but you are a punk for skiing by them. youre breaking the rules of the mountain, so its not their fault. you shoulda just talked with them on your first run instead of staring them down.

unless you have multiple jackets, attach your pass to one of the loops on your jacket with a key ring, and show a little respect to the employees of your mountain.
