waterski backflip

Ouch he ate it, that wake looks way too small for a flip, espically on waterskis!

in some wakeboarding video a guy does it on a double up, he's a good 10 feet above the water and its really laid out. super cool. I tried on over the summer, cut right through the wake and landed on my head and got a whole lot of ski in my mouth.

 
is it possible to waterski wakeboard style? like flips and shit?

people do inverts on trick skis, i tried a fiew flips on a wakeboard and came aroudn on a fiew, but cased.

I did a water ski jump when I was 12 at my Pro Aunts lake. That was fun. I'm sure it'll get more intense in a few years with different trix besides length and back flips.

a couple summers ago a couple of my friends and i were going to build jumps to hit on our water skis but never got around to it...but i looks like so much fun i wanna try really bad..heh

 
i'm pretty sure that guy in the vid wasnt trying to do a backflip....i thought he just ate it because he was totally in the back seat...looked kinda gay to me

 
personally, i don't think water skiing is ever going to progress to new school type stuff........ it just doesn't seem possible, unless they come out w/ some 'revolutionary technology' to like water skiers do the same shit wakeboarders do

You know something that would really make me applaud? A guy gets stuck in quicksand, then sinks, then suddenly comes shooting out, riding on water skis. How do they do that?
