Has anyone used any waterproofing/ resisting sprays on your pants or jackets? If so, do they work?

Nikwax products. They fucking rock, i'm from washington so i know about the rain. They make waterproofing for everything, goretex, down, polar fleece, glove waterproofing. I recomend the non detergent tech wash to pre treat your garments, then the Tx Direct wash in. Most of the products are around 12 bucks at ski shops and stores like REI and Mountain Co op
