Waterproofing jeans with waterproof spray

I actually have a pair of waterproof Kr3w jeans at my house for this purpose.

Anyways, I don't see why this wouldn't work.

if you used a fuckload of spray and tried to brush snow off your legs when you fell, i dont see why not.

Hmm...an Asian skiing in jeans. Yep, you'd fit right in at my hill. You don't ski on rentals by any chance, do you?

Real man don't ski in jeans, they ski in jorts.

I know Naked and Famous have a wax coated denim that is waterproof, but not about actually waterproofing your own

Dont do it OP. This stuff leaves nasty white residue, isn't durable, and doesn't breathe well.

thicker raw denim actually does a great job of keeping you dry, just because its so thick. mine are really thick, and sometimes i use them to hit my friend's backyard rail setup (with snow, not astroturf) and i always stay dry, even if i fall. raw denim can be really fun if you're into that kind of stuff. you might want to check it out!

pass on the expensive pants. you mean you stay dry, but the pants still take on water? i meant more the pant didnt take on any water.

well kind of. The actual thread that makes the fabric is pretty heavy, which creates a really dense/heavy fabric. because the fabric is woven so tight, it helps prevent water from soaking in. also the actual thickness of the fabric helps to prevent the water from reaching you.

i definitely wouldn't get into raw denim just for the water resistant-ness, but thats just an added perk of them.
