Waterproofing a cast?

any tips.. i teach/coach swimming and i just broke my ankle..i need to work very badly so i can continue to go to college.. and my job is pretty fun.. is it possible to waterproof a cast very well?

For showering, a garbage bag is usually sufficient.... but for long term submersion, I don't think you're gonna get a seal without cutting off your circulation dude

I've seen people swim with a cast on their arm.

I learned how to surf with a cast on my leg. dont worry about it and just try to keep it clean

When I broke my thumb I had a waterproof cast and could go swimming with it.
