Waterproof Shoes

Hey NS,

I'm looking for some steezy shoes to keep the elements out, spending a season in Whistler at the end of the year and being from Australia we don't really have a need for shoes that keep snow out! So I'm pretty lost looking for anything that is stylish. Help me out.

Welcome to North America. You are in luck! Here on this continent we have a special type of shoe to "keep the elements out." We call them boots.

Haha yes, but any recommendations on Boots that look good/don't make you look like a cowboy?

bro you serious? 1. cowboys get mad pussy. 2. cowboy boots are badass. 3. if your looking for some sick boots in all weather definatly pick up some timberlands. Just get them when you get to the united states. Not like your going tow alk off the plane in like 10000 ft of rain and snow

Kamik, Baffin or Sorel. If you're worried about the look, wear snow pants over them.

Or avoid the snow and always have a shovel plowing your walking direction.

Timberlands look fly and keep your feet warm but when it comes down to -30 or less you're not gonna give a fuck how your boots look. best to find whatever keeps your feet the warmest when it comes to playing in the mountains.

I wear Dunham work boots during the winter, not sure if you were looking for a work boot but I love them, completely waterproof and steel toes

got to a shoe store, purchase waterproofing spray, apply coat as directed, wait 24 hrs before wearing shoes in wetness. it's not 100%, but just be careful when you do wear your shoes in the snow/rain. probably best if you get a second pair or something. i'd suggest owning some boots if you plan on doing a lot of walking outdoors.

just rock some thigh high wellies everywhere. bitches will flock to you like moths to a flame.

I have these for the winter and I love them

pretty low profile boots but totally waterproof, up to the ankles and insanely durable. I wore them all last winter and there is no sign of any wear or damage to them, its amazing.

theyre called the Summit, made by Rockport (which is a sick company)

if somebody is confident enough to rock wellingtons, they will have absolutely no trouble attracting the right sort of woman.

HAHAHAHAHA

BUT I DONT EVEN WEAR BOOTS AND I WALK HOME FROM SCHOOL 30MINS EVERY DAY, I DONT KNOW HOW FREQUENT THE PLOW SERVICE IS IN WHISTLER BUT IN ONTARIO I DONT EVEN NEED BOOTS BECAUSE THE SIDWALKS WILL USUALLY BE PLOWED RIGHT AFTER A SNOWFALL

good choice. I have red wing iron rangers, which are a smooth sole, so not great for snow, but baller boots non-the-less, and some redwing loggers, which are an awesome winter boot.
