I had some Salomon XA pro's that had Goretex XCR in them and they were AWESOME. Super comfy and the lacing system was awesome. I also had a pair of montrails that were also waterproof but I didn't liek the way they fit, they were dope though. Mens New Balance MT910GT Gor-Tex performance trail running shoe
MO1520GT Gor-Tex Hiking
I work for new balance so i prefer these. If you want a shoe that is completly waterproof it must have a waterproof membrane system ie Gor-Tex or eVent. Anything that simply says "waterproof" on the side means it was treated with a waterproof spray at the factory. It will stay waterproof for a couple months and then you will have to continue to spray or aplly wax to keep it waterproof. All Gor-Tex shoes are GARUNTEED WATERPROOF for the first year of ownership.
http://www.backcountry.com/outdoorgear/KEEN-Shellrock-WP-Hiking-Shoe-Mens/KEN0093M.htmlwore these all summer hiking. totally waterproof as long as the water doesnt go over the ankle. pretty comfy, i wore them on 20+ mile hikes and didnt have sore feet. they also look pretty good. hit me up if you need a coupon code for BC. after the coupon they're probably around 70 or so. when I first got them I went through a 2ft stream to see how waterproof they were. I tightend the laces up hard and made it about 1/4 way across before they flooded. took them off and dumped the water, wrang my socks out and they were good to go for the rest of the hike. didnt completly dry out untill a day later. for walking around campus you should be good.
