Guy found a way to create HHO gas from water that burns clean and very hot.
 
nothing new a bunch of asian nerds from some tech university came to my science class to show that on some shitty mini car
 
hahaha i can see it now: everyone will be raiding the local lakes and streams to power their car.

this also adds fuel to my belief that the next world war will be fought over water...
 
I could deffinatly see a war over water, take that war with Isreal and uh idk if it was jordan or whtever, but that was for a whole different purpose.
 
good thing the water will just eveaporate and we'll use it again itd be pretty hard to start a war over it haha
 
anyone that thinks there will be a war over water is a fucking retard. water is a never ending resource that people have been taking for granted for years.
 
think about how many more people there are now and how long it takes for water to naturally purify itself. it is a very possible reality.
 
who killed the electric car was great we watched it in tech class.... and actually theyve got a point with hydrogen its really not safe to put in cars at this point- thered have to be a shit load of safety measures to keep accidental explosions to a minimum
 
This is new to you? Thats sad. This idea has been around for ages. Hydrogen would be GREAT to put in our cars! The exhaust is water too, how sweet is that? The problem is that hydrogen is so incredibly small it leaks out of almost any container...and Hydrogen is incredibly combustable..so if it leaks, bang.

Also the tanks aren't very big, you can't get alot out of them. And how would you refill hydrogen? You would need stations, and not very far apart, no far distances. Hydrogen is a long way off, there is a lot of things they have to improve and work out first.
 
only problem is that to make hydrogen from water would use up more energy and make more pollutants than just using oil and it costs a great amount of money.. Until we find an efficent way to extract the hydrogen its pointless.
 
I think a step up is air-powered cars, because you can put an air compresser inside your car and never have to refuel
 
big oil companies are like the mob they make hits on people to keep us using their oil isntead of water or electric. Thye don't really give a fuck about about the earth as long as they have enough money and I guess 100's of millions of dollars does qualify as enough
 
It's not fucking Hydrogen gas.

HHO is not hydrogen gas. Hydrogen gas is just H, and it being by itself is why its so volatile. HHO is Oxyhydrogen and is much different and doesn't have the problems you just stated. There wouldn't be Hydrogen stations. You would just get water and that's it.

I've known about hydrogen for years. This is different.

 
okay i was thinking what glrunner13 was thinking, cause ive heard about just hydrogen and it is more expensive as of now. but from how you describe it, wouldnt there be a problem of water shortage?
 
after the mixture of gases is burned, it evaporates back into water. Water really cant be destroyed. Pretty badass compound if you ask me. It totally owns shit.
 
not destroyed, but salinated... potable water is definitely a scarcity, ask the aussies... everything comes with a reaction.
 
screw all this fuel shit, i want to see flying cars. i really wouldnt care if i was hurting the enviroment if my car could fly
 
fuck big oil. what we need is an administration that has no ties to big oil and doesn't give a fuck about them. we have the technology, we just need someone who gives a shit enough to impose it.
 
this is also true... maybe if we werent spending over 400 billion a year on the war it could go towards this shit....

not to mention all of the money that does go towards this shit goes towards big oil companies for "research" about raising availability and lowering emissions. basically he wants to let the oil companies have the heads up in new fuels, and theyre gonna take as long as they can to replace their own huge monopolies. how do you think we got e-85? its just a tool for the oil companies to stall on and use as an excuse for progress. does it solve emissions? no. does it lower gas prices? no. does it stop global warming? no. is it cheaper or more available than gas and will it be any time soon? no.

You're joking right? How is it unneccessary!? Or perhaps you've been so busy driving around picking up bitches in your Hummer that you haven't stopped to notice the *gasp* changes that are happening VERY rapidly on the planet. Like how the past 7 years have been the hottest in the history of... EVER? Or like how more hurricanes have become land-bourne in the past 7 years than EVER in recorded history? The point is you need to conserve, stop being a ego-centric twat, and pay attention to the world around you. YES greenhouse gases exist. YES cars and such can run on water, so why waste an expendable resource, when we can use a recreateable one?! According to this, the dudes car gets 100 miles to FOUR QUARTS. OF WATER!! I doubt your hummer comes anywhere near that in GALLONS of GAS.

Grow up, and pay attention to the rest of the world. You aren't the center of the universe.
