my town built a new water tower right next to the current one. we were trying to figure out how to gap it. it'll be done next snow day...

im not claiming to know ne thing about mammoth, but the water towers gotta b on mammoth cause its got mammoth mountain on it right. but it cant b a terrain feature in the park, or is it?

i dont think it was metal or anything like that either because when skiers got near it of hit it it looked like it compressed so it might be a giant balloon.

it is a real water tower it is about 30 -35 feet high by chair 15 not in the terrain park and if he was towed in it was by a snowmobile because it is on the middle of the mountain.

I thought it was weak as hell. Mack Dawg did it like 2 years ago. and the snowboarders were going bigger and doing it better. why the hell would they do it for a ski movie 2 years later? I could see if we were going bigger or doing something cooler maybe justifying it. but it just comes accross as skiers trying to do what the snowboarders are doing... but just not as well cuz we suck. and that is kinda dumb. yep. like it was sick and all.... but they shoulda found a different one or something. yep.

yeah it wouldve been sick if they stalled on the top of it, jon was the only one who got enough air to get close to the top though and if you watch happy dayz he had some really bad falls before he stuck the first one

I have no prolem with doing water tower jibs... it is sick as fuck, I am just saying that when they do exactly what snowoarders did on the same water tower two years earlier - they should one up them, or leave it out of the movie. or just find a diferent tower so it doesn't look like skiers are just trying to copy snowboarders.

yeah, agreed. For people that watch/ride both sports, you compare the two. I do, and I agree with Dave. Just makes our sport look shittier, even though I know no one on this site really cares about us looking worse than snowboarders, right? If we wanna get respect, we need to be the innovators, not the followers.
