Water seaping inside my kryptons, what to do?

I recently got new boots and have been skiing the heavy wet snow the PNW has to offer, and I've noticed that at the end of the day my liners are soaked. This never used to happen with my rossis and I'm trying to figure out ways to prevent this because having cold feet as a result of wetness is kind of annoying.

Has this happened to anyone with either rampages, crosses or pros? It seems the foam they have on the lowe part of the tongue is just not cutting it, so I was thinking of getting some plastic bags and just covering the foot area of the line. I just don't know whether that will kill my feet in terms of breathability or make my feet sweat making them even more cold.

What would NS do?!

on a serious note, i have nvr had such a problem. mianly b/c my pants cover mainly everything. wheres it seeping in on you?

It seems there isn't a seamless fit between the part where the tongue rests on top of the shell. I guess the manufacturer glues a piece of foam around this part to prevent the water from seaping in, but it's not cutting it for me. So when I take my boots off at home, the entire toe area is soaked. So I guess to answer your question, the snow seems to be coming in from around where the lowe buckle would be around.

I might try some duct tape to thicken the area, but I just wanted to see if there were any other incidences of this occurring to see what worked for other people.

wow thats redic. id frikin return them. you should not have a problem like that w/ new boots. what a joke.

true. thats fucked.

On most/all 4 buckle boot designs the lowest buckle is essentially a waterproofing device, obviously not the same on the kryptons, but if the lowest buckle on your boots always done up firmly?

I ski with it buckled but not too firmly... I might try getting in one or more notch and if it water still seeps through, I'll contact dalbello.

Yeah i don't know how much it will make a difference - the shell design is definitely different to that of a 4 buckle design - see how it goes anyway

my friends dad had the same problem with the crosses but i havent had any problems with the rampage

a little thing called "duct tape". there are my new steezy colors off in duct tape these days..at least it will lessen the amount of water.

when i used to use them they never leaked, and the bottom buckle was pretty much always unbuckled. your either really sweaty or the boots leaking

fuck duct tape. like nice that iot works. but im assuming ur boots arent even a season old..you will have to deal with duct taping for a couple more yrs then. and its plingly not worth it. especially for the price.

Just for clarification, my feet DON'T sweat, this is clearly an issue with water seeping in from the outside in. I've added some duct tape around the toebox so hopefully that will work.

And yes, I got these boots about 1 month ago and have only been on them 4 times this season.
