well, i think you sorta answered your own question. they may or may not work for you. i think it's a good way to get confidence. Sure snow is a lot different, but if you think "Hey... i did it into water, so i can do it here" it might help.
It depends how much you go and what kind of coaching you get there. The ramps are different than snow so you have to spend some time getting used to them. If you go a decent amount and have good coaching it can really help you fix things in your current tricks and expand your bag of tricks for next season. If you only go a few times it will still help a little, but you might not see as much of an improvement. You'll have fun regardless and that in itself is worth it.
