Water Ramping in Ontario, Canada

Is there such a thing? Myself and some friends are looking to go find somewhere decent to go ride the ramps this weekend...i've been searching a bit, but not much.

I have found ACROBATX which seems to be the closest...its in fucking Quebec...so far...anywhere closer? Link to there site is...http://www.acrobatx.com/english/acro batx_eng.htm

Let me know if you guys know of anywhere closer...

I believe the closest ones are those in Quebec, and those in Lake Placid.

Yup, no ramps in ontario sadly!

It's either Placid or Quebec city, whichever is easiest for you to make it to!

doug i was talking to jon harris (huck_1080) and he was telling em you would be coming water ramping someday soon, you should so join us...

what are the ramps in placid called? they have a site? I want to see which one is a lesser drive for us ontario folk.

lake placid is closer for me (3 hours from ottawa).

there aren't any nearer then Quebec and Placid.

Believe it or not, water ramps are not as popular as bowling alleys and tennis courts, so they only get built where there are a lot of skiers who need them for training. A lot of Freestyle skiers train in Quebec, and Placid had the Winter Olympics many years ago.

Ontario probably has more skiers then other provinces/states (Blue Mountain gets more visitors per year then most hills in Alberta and BC), but most skiers don't know what a water ramp is and would rather be bowling anyway.

 
man, fuck you skiers who love bowling, now i gotta drive 9 hours for this....oh well, its justified, its SKIING!
