Water ramp skiing

I want to go to lac beau-port water ramps (Qc) this summer to improve myself but I don't have old skis... can break my skis?? it's only water...

u can break them.. i never have but u can, if u use like ur skis that you planning on using next season.. the water will turn them into noodles

buy some old, used, cheap ski blades

just get some old straight skis or anything basically will work

if your skis are nice dont use them. the impact will eventually snap them. If you want them to last at the ramps more then a few times but some fiber glass on them.

yeah they soak up water and delaminate & edges rust if they are not chrome, and the edges start popping out over time too. You rarely break them cause of the bubbles pushing up in the water but if you go real real high they can crack to shit.

Ive seen some actually break.

yea just go to a yard sail...buy some 170 straight skis that are neon green and orange...and have a good time

im going there this summer and i did ast summer in one week i broke one pair of skis but some people broke like 3 pairs a day depends on ur landings definatley need old ones though

go to lake placid it is closer and they give you equipment to break and boots to get soaked
