Watch Pink Floyd in Concert.....

Wasted....Honestly its the craziest thing I have ever seen in my life, the drumline and guitar just made me sit there and think "wow, wow, wow, fucking awesome." The introduction to Time is so insane, some random plane just flies across the stage and blows up on the wall.

Why the fuck would you watch pink floyd drunk? that completely defeats the purpose of listening to them.

^Obviously you don't get it then. I'm not sure what the concert was called but I do know it was the most insane light show I have ever seen in my life.

If I were to go see a pink floyd laser show I would be high as fuck or trippin on some cid. but to each his own, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

The people who enjoyed Pink Floyd back in the day were probably tripping on acid the entire concert, or just fucked up cause they didnt even move.

most people think of pink floyd as darkside of the moon, but if you listen to their earlier stuff you will truly appreciate how good of a band they were, albums such as animals, meddle, a soucerfull of secrets, piper at the gates of dawn, and obscurred by clouds to name a few. not to say dark side of the moon is not a good album considering it is influenced and based on syd barret, the man who created and named pink floyd and to say the least started pshycadelic music altogether but was only on their first album due to becoming mentally insane and put into a phych ward because of his use of LSD (which was also created by the government and once legal) which is what the dark side of the moon is about, syd barret going insane, he recently died for those who were unaware

This guy likes to think he knows what he's talking about....in fact not the case. Off the top of my head

1) Animals was post DSOM (by 4 years!)

2) DSOM was not influenced/written about Syd.....hopefully you meant to say Wish You Were Here, cause...wow thats just too obvious

3) Syd Barrett did not in any capacity "start pshycadelic music altogether"

4) Syd Barrett was not just on their first album

and again, Dark Side of the Moon was not written for nor influenced by Syd Barrett. You are thinking of Wish You Were Here. These are some legit facts about Pink Floyd.

Thank you. you beat me to it. UmmaGumma-The Division Bell are all completely uninfluenced by Syd as a songwriter. The last appearance of Syd on an album was Saucerful of Secrets, which was their second album I believe (not sure), and was the debut of Dave Gilmour as guitarist, although, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall were based on interactions and memories of Syd. Obscured by the Clouds is a shit album (although one of my faves) and doesn't even come close to Meddle or any of the later albums. Syd died on a Tuesday.

And I'm sorry i got mad at you. I thought you ment the 300$ PULSE tour as opposed to Laser Floyd, which is what you probably went to. I was pissed cause that would've been a waste of a lot of money and an incredible show.

well if you watched the vh1 special on pink floyd roger waters says dark side of the moon was about syd, and if you listen to it you will notice. i did not mean those albums came before dark side of the moon i meant the earlier work i like a lot and the albums i listed, im not here to prove anything and i was just trying to get people to think about bands like this as something other than drugs

you got proven wrong, just accept it. you clearly said that animals was before DSOM. and by the way LSD was not invented by the government. It was invented by a European scientist (Swiss or Dutch i believe).

Best floyd albums in my opinion are

Obscured by clouds

Meddle

DSOTM

Animals

WIsh you were here

Syd and Gilmour were both on a saucer full of secrets however neither of them saw each other in the recording studio. I recently saw david gilmour and it was one of the most amazing experiences ever, just check out my photos in my profile because i dont know how to post them from my profile. We were actually ripping on some kids there who were drinking and smoking because thats not what you do when you see David Gimour, its such a historic event that to be in an altered state of mind would just ruin it and makes you look stupid, not that i have anything wrong with drinking or smoking, just not at a David Gilmour concert because its so special.

i wish the australian pink floyd show would do more touring in the states. i saw it on tv and they sound just like floyd, with a sick show. and dsotm is by far the best album ever made. you cant argue with 365 weeks on the billboard chart

I'm going to see Roger Water's and he's putting on the DSOTM light show and it's going to rock. What now?
