Watch Life or Reno Jib?

Ok, so I want to go with either Moment or Surface for some park skis this year. I have heard good things about both, regardless of price, what sould I get? I would also look at the Reno Rocker, but I am kinda nervous to buy a pair of rockered skis without ever demoing them. Opinions?

I skied my watch lifes all year last year and they killed it, the construction is super solid, lots of pop, just a really fun ski. I haven't skied the moments but I love my surfaces

moments r gonna be super dope. i talked with the guy and the rockers dont give as much pop as the jibs due to the rocker but they are gonna be sick for buttering and stuff. the jib is a stiffer ski with butter zones which will be dope. idk too mch about the watch life but i have heared good things

see that is why i am scared of the rockerd skis. I don't know if it will wash out on me on a big landing. I like buttering, but if the ski can't do much else then ill just go with the jib.

In terms of construction, i hear they are both good and i think that both companys are legit but havent used either. any more opinions?

'08 correct?

that's a good queation, i was wondering the same thing myself. the jibs look cooler. ive heard great things about both.

it i were you i would analize the types of riding you do and see which sidecut would be better, then decide on a flex preferance, then compansate for price, etc.

I thought about this too. I'm not in the market for a new ski but in the future I definitely had these two in mind. I'd prolly just go with the reno jibs since they will have butter points. I mean, I still don't understand what the point of rocker in a park ski is. People claim easier butters and what not, but if you're going with moment, can't you just use the butter flex points in the reno jib for that?

well i'd just like to say buying a rockered ski without ever trying them first is pretty silly.

thats what i think, so i am undecided between the watch lifes and reno jib. Is there anything that one would be better at?

I have PE's for my all mnt. ski so this would be pretty much park specific.

oh and i am 5'9' 140lbs in case you need that.

if you're honestly looking for a more park-specific ski, i'd get the jibs... they're pretty park specific. look sick, but i looove surface, too.

yeah if youre doing just park go for the renos but if you want all mountain capabilites go for the WL

I preordered watch lifes from jibij, my vote goes to them since they were $100 cheaper and surface is a more established company, and besides ragging on them for their xs pants I have never heard a shitty review of one of their skis, moment I haven't really heard much about since so few people have them, the square tip is pretty dope though, I just wouldn't get the rockered ones if this will be your main pair of skis, get the regulars.
