okay ovbs whistler its its own town has so many stores.. its own hospital, rated best resort in north america 3 years in a row its just has such good spirit... only bad thing is that its soo expensive

Killington because they have the annual Tourist Hunt where they give you AK47's and snowmobiles to hunt all people from New York, New Jersey, Mass., Conn., and Penn., the person with the most points wins a brand new Ferrari.

point system:

NY-10

NJ-7

Mass-5

Conn-2

Penn-2

My favs in order:

Whistler/Blackcomb (has everything)

Kirkwood (good vibe, great big mountain skiing, crazy snow)

Snowbird (great big mountain skiing and snow)

Alta (ditto)

Taos (best snow I've ever skied; small but great place)

Squaw (massive, great big mountain and park, but home to a lot of dickheads)

Vail (massive, good lifts and well laid out, back bowls fun, but not great big mountain skiing)

Alyeska (shitty facilities and lifts, but we've gotten a crazy amount of pow this winter, so I can't complain)

The back bowls would be fun on a powder day, but I just never found anything that steep or challenging at Vail. Maybe it's there and I never found it (I certainly tried). I didn't have the same problem at the other places.

Also, I forgot to include Mammoth, which I'd fit between Alta and Taos.
