washing ski pants??

usually the pants will have specific instructions on the tag inside as to how you should wash them...usually wash in cold water and hang dry or dry on low/medium heat

try not to wash them! just scrub the dirty areas and air them for getting rid of smells. also, spray scotch guard on ur gear so they are easily cleaned with a cloth...peace

yea theres no way to avoid the waterproofing wearing off if you throw them in the washer, jsut wait till they really really need it or spot wash em. a good teflon spray works well too at preventing mud and whatever other shit gets on them.

I dont know what you all are talking about. Any of my jackets that are gore tex say washing it in cold water with a little detergent actually replenishes the waterproofing. Gore tex wont loose its waterproofing by washing it, it works by tiny holes in the jacket, not some spray that would wash off in the washing machine. Dirt just clogs the pores of the jacket and makes it breathe even less.

word^^. i've washed mine plenty of times with no problems. its slicing them with my edges that cause more problems.

yea gore-tex jackets even wear off too, DWR is placed over the gore-tex fabric (Durable Water Repellent) this eventually will loose performance. and with pants, not many are even gore-tex'ed unless u wanna drop some cash

i wash my siver pants in cold water all by themselves and put the spin on low so it doesnt beat the hell out of them. in the dryer i put them on low heat. they dont seem any less waterproof at all. and theyre a lot more comfortable after using downey softener. mmmmmmmmmmm.

hey hey hey! seanpistol or anyone else wioth siver pants do you use detergant or not? i know wash em cold but detergant?! yes no a bit? lemmmmme kno

i just tried a new product. G-line G-wash cleaner. you put it in the wash like soap and wash. i only put my stuff in the dryer for a few minutes and then hang dry, so it doesn't ruin waterproofing, velcro, color. I made my first turns today and it worked fine so far. but it was 20 degrees and super fluffy pow, so i will have to go stand in the rain in the morning and test it out.
