Washing Clothes

Just kinda curious... How many times do you wear a piece of clothing before washing it?

For me:

Jeans: 3-4 days (I should probably wash them less often though...)

Hoodies: 2-3 weeks or when they get dirty

Everything else I wear for a day and then wash.

jeans-every few months when they get mud or something on em

shirts-whenever I get some food stuck on or it smells from being on the floor too long

hoodies-every few months when real dirty or smelly

socks-every time unless they're wool

boxers-every time unless their are no clean ones, then flip em inside out

holy fuck, my jeans and sweaters i almost NEVER wash, only when its clearly noticeable that theyre dirty. everything else like socks boxers and t-shirts i wear once and wash. my tolerance for dirty clothes has gone up significantly since i moved out and have to use the laundry room in my apt building, fuckin 9$ for a full laundry session

Jeans-if they get something on them, or are super-noticeably loose from wearing them so muchShirts- every wearboxers- every wearsocks- every wearhoodies- almost never, really only if they ever get something on them

jeans-once a week

hoodies-once a month

tall tees-once a season, if that

tees-after wearing 3 times or they get dirty

socks-every time, unless i only wear em for a bit or dont have others

boxers-once every 2 days

shirts - 2, sometimes 1 day

socks - 2 days

pants - 3

skiing clothes - twice a year usually

hoodies - 1.5-2 months

shirts that go over other shirts - 3 or 4 times

am i a slob? I dont think so really

Till it starts to smell really funky and people won't sit next to me. Then I usually where them one more week and give them a solid run through the wash.

uhm am i missing something or....?

i wear my jeans then throw them in the hamper for my sunday wash...

i wear a different pair of jeans everyday and then at the end of the week wash all 6 or 7. Same with all my clothes except for hoodies

jeans, every 3 months or so, depends. i definitely don't wash them for the first 6 months. hoodies it depends, every 3 or so weeks.

freezing jeans and hoodies works super well. I freeze all my jeans, except for my work/hike pair, which i still rarely wash, probably once at the beginning of the summer, and once at the end

im under the impression that a lot of people dont have a different pair of jeans for each day of the week though, i know i dont anyways, i only have like 5 pairs and theyre all different styles and colors/shades so sometimes it doesnt work you know

Jeans- 2 days

Shirts- 1 day

Gonch- one day(unless I'm traveling I sometimes turn them inside out)

socks-1-2 days I sometimes am too lazy to find clean ones

Sweatshirts-2 weeks
