Was PYB a joke?

i enjoyed the movie, but two gripes. some of the shots are way to zoomed out, and tanner's chad's gap shots are shot from horrible angles (except the one of him coming in switch with is clothes billowing around him, that was sick!!) also it is a little short, and the extras in WSKI106 were better; fucking LCP shit grossed me out

I like shooting guns guy, anyone who knows me knows I don't walk, talk or act like a thug. Besides I didn't come up with the icon

the more i watch rainvilles part the more I like it. I think the song and flow is so good, i dont get distracted by the flowers and all that shit anymore

The bandannas and shooting dice was pretty phony, I dont really care if thats how they usually act, it looked stupid. Seeings how I'm from Detroit, it looked fake to me, and I've seen plenty of 'gangstas' shooting dice in my day. The skiing however was sweet. Movie gets 6/10 because it was short and had bunk shit in it.

i thought it was the best movie this year it was so good and so gagnster and yah i think they were serious especially tanner. yah that movie was sick i loved it

Tosh what did we learn about attacking people on newschoolers? I'm glad you live in Pc and feel like sucking tanner off, but personal attacks do not win arguements. and "your a faggot" really doesn't mean anything, stay in school big guy.

I agree and disagree with your post.

I doubt anything will evolve of this "thug" image in skiing anymore than it has now. I guarantee that the majority see it as ridiculous. That being said, more props to him if he wants to push it against a majority perception.

I think you get it right in the second half of your statement, "he just likes to have fun man, the movie was fun, even if a little laughable at points, it was fun." That is where skiing's image is, not in being "thug", "emo", "newschool" or "old school". So if I see a kid on my hill with a pant leg rolled up and a bandana coming from every which way, that's fine, as long as he's enjoying himself. Not my image, but who am I to say it's not his.

I listen to a lot of punk music, but I have listened to a alot more hip hop now because of ski movies. Talib Kweli and Mos Def being two of my favorites.

cheers.

Dan
