Was Anyone?....

im 99% sure i saw te jets that were sent to go possiably take down the planes because i live by selfridge air force base and thats were they were sent from...they were hauling ass

if you were on the other side of the island you probably wouldn't have heard it......i could be wrong but still

well my dad was at work but didn't hear it or see it and he was close enough that the sercurity camera's at his job in the bronx picked it up because of the motion sensors

I was on my way into the city to go to Chelsea Piers (which they used as a blood donation/sick bay that day). I turned around halfway there when we heard "rumors" that a plane had crashed into the first tower.

My brother lived in TriBeCa at the time, though, and he and his roommates had to evacuate the city. My brother wasn't allowed to go back into his appartment to get his dog! His female roommate had to sweet-talk her way in just to get the poor dog.

All the stories of "I was supposed to be there, but I needed to stop here..." amaze me. I know tons of people who were supposed to have meetings there that morning or that work there and they stopped to get coffee or were running late that morning. I don't personally know anyone that died in the WTC, but I know people whose parents passed away or who had friends. It's all very devastating and surreal.

my school is really close to the Pentagon and we couldnt hear it cuz we have soundproof windows cuz they are building the new bridge, which we are practically under, but you could feel the earth tremble when it hit and the skies were straight black with smoke

My mom talked with a co-worker that was working in one of the surrounding buildings, and she said that the plane passed by her window so low that she could the faces of the people in the windows.
