I heard a rumor that Impact was warren millers last film. Anyone know anything about that?

he might be getting old but his name is one of the most famous names in skiing and if his movies continue to make money I think the company can survive without him

It would kinda be cool to have a warren miller style movie, that would be half park, half big mountain, while retaining the narration, and some other stuff. But no flat gay pow. I'm not saying really anything for us, but movies that would reach out to all of the ski industry, like his movies do now. If somebody made a movie like that, everyone would learn what skiing is like(like not flat gay pow, or just a couple guys sliding rails, but tons of skiers doin stufff in the park, and mopre segments having people like seth and shane)

 
^Yeah, TGR encompasses a lot the shit you were talkin about. As far as Warren goes: you gotta respect him. I don't watch his films anymore cause they are about an hour too long and I am not his target audience (i.e. someone my parent's age).

 
yeah, like TGR, but more of the stuff WM has, like the chirlift scenes, and some other sport is usually in there. TGR dosen't have as much of a narration in there as WM.

 
i thought the last movie had some good seg's in it, especially that rediculous step up.

yeh I don't mind is movies it's good change from ur basic ski moviebut yeh teh company is run by his sons now so the movie's will keep in comin

Picture what Warren would be thinking about reading this thread... He's been making movies on the progress of skiing since the 1940's when he was sleeping in Sun Valley's parking lot. Now to listen to teenagers bash him... hahaha; You'd think he has the upper hand here/ That's SEVEN decades dudes, give respect
