just saw it lastnight... i felt it was a dec movie, only thing i actually disliked was the crowd lol they were amazed at someon doing a 360 or 540... not sure why maybe they were all racers or soemthing but, i highly suggest you guys take a look at it

i saw it the other night too and thought it was pretty damn good. favorite part was definitely the guy who base jump/skied. How intense is that shit?

its def not hot. its boring to watch. Warren Miller movies suck cause half the crowd wears XXS one pieces and are a bunch of gapers.

yeah that train of jumping they all oooed when they did like a back dpraffy just jokin around

it was pretty sick

it had alot less warren miller narration so it wasnt the same

yeah it was pretty good..warren never talked though and some of the stuff that he said was from other movies so that was disapointing but they gave away good stuff and it was overall a good movie

i hate people like you who dont give Warren Miller the respect he deserves for practly starting the ski movie genre. if you think your cool to like warren miller then i think you have a problem because he has been puting out good movies year after year

and in general has been good on keeping up to date with what is going on in the world of snow sports so to criticize him just baffles me. (you dont have to like him just respect him)

well thanks to what he did and now take the money and go...

nahh not that harsh but I think its a good movie to show my rents and my grandma and say hey this is what I wanna do...its nothign though that I would consider a good freeskiing movie...

like we all now riding powder is the best thing ever...but watching it for 2 hours is boring...

I watched it tonight and the crowed was amazed by every little drop and a simple rail..they have never seen such before...we have..its a good thing to bring ppl into the scence cuz they like what they see but if you are "kinda" or "totally2 into the scene then you wanna see more and bigger stuff...

have you seem the movie? probly not dillhole.. the movie sucked there was too much pow shots and they didnt film drops... just turns. And half the footage was probably hellicopter rides or interviews or some other dumb shit like fishing theres a whole segment of a guy making his way to alaska riding a navy boat.. fucking retarded

yeah it was bad, i like warren miller, his movies are ok, but this one was really bad, like the seth morrison stuff was terrible, it would show him make a turn an zoom in and make a whooshing sound everytime, it definatly did not show how good he is. same with every other segment. and whenever they did show park stuff, it was really bad, they did the same zoom in wooshing sound on like every time. and every shot that was actually good was in war.

^ i didnt mean to bash warren miller, he did next to nothing on this video man.. i doubt he filmed and he didnt narrate and he didnt edit.. so thats why it sucked

it didnt seem like warren miller had much to do with this movie at all... but either way I dont care whatever he did in the past is fine and dandy, but point in blank is that the movie was not good. Actually Im SEVERELY disappointed in almost ALL ski movies this season... very dissapointing so far. Whiteshine had it's cool moments but the stuff was often very small and fuck around type stuff. Ya see board movies now adays (not that we need to copy boarding so dont even take that road you gapers) but they are going big all the time, and theres no reason for ski shots not to. Shanghai is my overall fave to date so far for everything. Teddybear is decently creative also and the intro is cool, but the intro was lacking balance, it dragged to long, it seemed very detached from the rest of the movie so overall as a package... not so good. All i have left to see is War and PYB, Im hoping to be impressed. Otherwise Shanghai will hold the title this season.

you guys are fucking stupid. its not a freeskiing movie. warren miller has never made a freeskiing movie. nor has he ever made a skiing movie. they are all movies are about winter snowsports and the lifestyle that surrounds them and the people who partake in them. of course youre not going to see the sickest tricks or the sickest lines. the movies are intended to appeal to as many people as possible, and that includes people who have never even skied before. hate me please, but once again, this is a thread that proves the ignorance of at least half the kids on this board.

i like his other movies, they atleast had some cool stuff. but this one wasnt even him talking, and everything was just worse.

yeah, i wasnt able to get to see his movie this year, but ive seen a lot in previous years, and a bunch of even older ones. and as far as just skiing goes, they fucking rock. he doesnt give a fuck what you do or how you do it, as long as youre on the hill, thats all that matters. and thats the way it should be.

Something to think about: When Warren Miller dies or retires or both, will they still use his name just to draw a crowd? I would bet yes. That will be a sad day for skiing, a Warren Miller movie that the man himself didn't actually work on. Then skiing will have sold out. If that branch (oldschool) hasn't already.

i would send my rents to it and say hey thats what i would like to do...but other than that...it sucked..it tells a little about the lifestyle..but not much...and like everyone else said...too much talking

dude... the movie sucked. Yah he started the ski movie genre, but now his movie's are just big commercials with crappy editing and bad music. Sure I'll respect what he did for the sport, but that doesn't mean I have to respect or like a horrible movie.
