Warren Miller's Children of Winter

ehh no matter if itsgood or bad im going cause its the only ski movie tha comes to my town

plsu my grandpas really goo friends with warren
 
just got back from it, worst one i have ever seen, claim was a billion times better, hell most of the summer edits were way better, i am very disappointed in this years warren miller
 
too much chatter and drama cinematography was great but all the park shots were different angles of other ski movie company shoots
 
as cool as that is, it has no bearing on anything, seeing as how warren miller doesnt make warren miller movies anymore, hence why they suck
 
you do... talking about how you dont have a chick cuz they all suck at skiing or something along those lines... haha.
 
Movie was terrible, they spent more time showing jason biggs than any skier!

However, the women in Milwaukee handling the P.A. was a perfect 10!

If she can ski, Sarah Burke may have some competition:-)
 
you all are gunna think im crazy but i really liked it. it was a good movie for sure warren has really stepped up his game. there are a bunch of really good segements. especially the billy poole segment.
 
its been said several times so far in this thread alone, but i'll say it again.

WARREN MILLER DOESNT MAKE THE MOVIES ANYMORE, THEY ARE MADE BY GAPERS THAT WORK FOR TIMEWARNER
 
I thought this year's "Children of Winter" was pretty good. Warren Miller movies are always more about the world wide skiing culture and capturing different aspects of the lifestyle besides tricks an gnarly terrain. It's an entirely different genre from your typical ski porn style film. This year's film did a really good job showing lots of different aspects of the skiing.
 
There is no way I would pay $18 to go to a Warren Miller movie when all of his good footage is just purchased from MPS and PBP
 
i saw them filming in crested butte. they closed 3rd bowl for over a week to film back there and it dumped. stoked to see that seg.
 
I saw it a couple days ago. They spent way too much time on Jason Biggs and other stories. They had some local guys from bend in it though. I saw the MASSIVE premier and it was AWSOME!!!! So much free stuff, HOT red bull girls and all the free red bull you want. Screw Children of Winter and go see the Massive.
