well some of you probably will think im a dumbass or something which i really dont care about, but id have to say his movies are soooooooooooo good. wow its ridiculous id watch one of his movies over almost all others in a heart beat. very talented guy, nothing better than listening to his distinct(sp) voice narrating either. fuckin legend

I had somewhat of a respect for him until I met him. he is such an asshole nobody that cocky deserves that much respect.

thats because I made him like 100 years ago and I was young back then, and curious....when I was creating his soul I put dog poo in there to see what would happen....aaah I did such stupid things when I was little.

 
the skiing parts arent that bad. in coldfusion, seths stuff is just awesome, and also glen plake teaches you some big mountain stuff. old skool or not, you got to give wm and gp respect for what they did.

I like Warren Miller Movies. some of his segments are pretty good. and their the best when you want to show what skiing is all about to someone who has never skied before. if you show them movies like yearbook, or High Five, or Red Tape people who never skied before tend to say skiing is for people with a death wish and they decide never to do it.

Warren Miller succeeds at showing as many difernt aspects of skiing as possible. and people often find something that they like. they look at the movie decide that the segment with the guys hucking cliffs isnt for them and then they see 60 year olds skiing a relatively easy run looking all relaxed and that gets them into skiing.

also hes got a way of saying things thats I like and that I find quotable. such as:

-"please Lord don't let me die until im at least dead"

he said this as he was base jumping 3 years ago (and the guy is in his 60s or 70s)

-"remember you cant get hurt in skiing.... unless you fall"

-"If you dont do it this year, yould be one year older when you do"

there are others but these are some of the more memorable ones.

I saw one of his recent movies at the imax and seeing big mountain and park on a 6 story screen really does change the experience. I was in aww

yea warren is the man, and he is/was a true ski bum. he was making ski movies 40+ years before anyone else, and still putting out sick stuff.

Cool guy i filmed with someone working for him at mammoth one day and the guy was dunb but all about doing whatever for us.I fealt bad crashing on super 16 but he was chill. I think me and my freind nolan AKA K~willz each got a shot in his movie last year but i haven't seen it......... cool guy and for sure a Legend*

as much as i like warren, he does not even have a say in the movies anymore. he sold the business to his son, and he screwed it over. he sold it to some AOL type company who wanted to make it more "EXTREAME" I am not even sure it is Warren even narorating any more. if it is, it's because of gay corporate contracts that suck the life from decent ski lovers. warren lives in montana at the Yellowstone Club, living off the benefits of being an icon!!!

ya but hes like 80 years old, people retire thats what they do when there old. he still narrates(sp) tho, atleast it shows him in the end of journey. why wouldnt you sell all that when your old, he got alot of money. and people move somewhere where they can relax when they retire, hence the reason he moved to the yellowstone club.

ok first off u need to shut the fuck up. without warren miller the ski film industry would be no where near where it is today, he started that shit and hes movies from a cinemetography point of view are amazing, i suggest u watch warren millers impact u will be blown away by how well it is edited and filmed just amazing and if u dont like his taking well fuck that thats his style always was always will be so in conclusion u need to rent some of his movies and have a more open mind. Viva La Warren!

ok warren miller movies are badass I buty them every year. Yeah they are different than yearbook and those other movies about park rats but that is a good thing. He films real freeskiears shredding the most epic lines imaginable. and for all you tanner loving homos out there, he did a segment for Warrren also. I'm surprised Warren went that low

 
Although he doesn't have the same control he did in the past, the writing still comes from Warren Miller, and he plays a major role in the final editing.
