i just saw the new warren movie and they took like all their jibbin footage form poor boys. what the flying fuck? if i was poor boys id be fist fuckin someone.

warren miller pisses me off. the world premire of forward in boulder- -about 80 people showed up then when warren -pizass-miller comes by his gay ass movie is sold out for 4 days!! if you think about it you will know why i am pissed i mean he has good editing and has the best filming equipment but the movies are usually boring as fuck!they are half boarders then the rest are queer ass reseort segments no jibbing no hucking no lines and when he does so skiers hitting shit he puts in terible music. plus he puts in that same mogul shit from breck every year the movies make skiers look like we are not progressing and still have the image we did 10 years ago

if I see one more versus post....I'm gonna go crazy....Warren Miller begins a ski season...so what if he borrows from other production companies, they get payed for it. Besides if Warren Miller has jibbing stuff in it...then maybe more people will come around and 'see the light'. I know of a ton of families who take all of their kids to go see warren miller every year, if some little dude see guys jibbin and really likes it and then starts it....what's the problem with borrowing a little footage? besides it's probably the only kind of ski movie that most people get to see....so it's alright if you ask me....besides, Warren is a funny guy, and that voice could calm the ragging seas

Warren Miller just uses footage from other companys such as Poor Boyz and MSP and some original to make the films. I love old school Warren Miller, but the new stuff I would rather just watch lifted.

he not only steals footie from poor boyz but also for snowlerboarding to...what the hell is up with that? i heard that warren sold his name to time warner and he has little to do with the actual movie now. i have total respect for him and what he has done for skiing, but his time is definitely over

i know but the copper mountain shit wasnt from poorboyz, the best part of that movie was when they go to that eastern country and there is the jihad jibber or watever

yeah props to warren for starting the ski movie thing but seriosuly...pbp has him dialed. no way he can compete. like...if he stillw ants to make big mountain/cruisin/old school films way to go...but i think he should let pbp and msp and 2track adn all thos guys work on the newschool

i think you guys are looking at it all wrong. Warren Miller makes movies for a different type of audience, not newschoolers. So if he shows a little pbp footage in his movies, maybe some people outside of newschool will be intrigued and join our movement. It helps both skiing and newschool at the same time.

pesonally i enjoy and warren miller film from time but it doesnt compare to a good movie from pbp or lvl 1

Not being able to speak is not the same as not speaking. You seem as if you like to talk. I like to let people talk who like to talk. It makes it easier to find out how full of shit they are.
 
First of all....Yeah im thankful that Warren started what he did, but.....

I dont want it all mixed,i am very happy with whats going on in our sport and would like to keep it seperate from the 'other' skiing. The sport is already progressing like crazy. and stop comparing it to snowboarding, snowboarding has gotten over done like a fried potato. Skiing is fresh and progressive. Plus its way more on the down-low side of things.

warren sucks and shouldnt be takin other peoples shots even if they r gettin paid, and what he said about the 'light' was ok but i'd rather our sport remain underground so that all the gayasses in snowboarding who suck dont just come to newschool because its 'cool' but if its some little kid who thinks its cool i think that would be alright.

there good but if they are goin to put jibbin in their video they should dig into their oversized pockets and give something to the sport. film your own stuff. damn im pissed. the movie was tight though
