Warren miller off the grid

dude u havent seen alot of movies then there are some way sicker ones that arnt all 2 and a half hours long and in slow motion tho i thought it was pretty sick tho but there are deffinatly better movies

By telling him there are better movies out there, you are essentially saying his opinion is wrong.

it is impossible to hate on warren miller

its teh shit

enough said

you dont compare it to other movies cus its different

the india segment....classic. just imagine it, having 2 random people on your skis with you. now thats a challenge.

^That was kind of cool, and the five minutes or less of park skiing was crazy, but the movie was way too long for me.

i saw the premier of "Off the Grid" in the town next to me. that movie was fucking crazy and some of the shots that they got were unbelieveable.

Its not a park rat movie, therefore park rats will not like it. Its for a more broader audience and the cinematography (esp in HD) is amazing, some of the best ive ever seen. I thought the movie was awesome.

The India segment was cool, and the park stuff that they had was pretty good. Also the cinemetography was excellent. The biggest problem is that Warren doesn't narrate like he used to. He has the coolest voice.

Apart from some of the HD shots, and a few of the park scenes, mostly ripped off from ski porn, the movie was terrible as far as WM films go. After WM stopped being involved after "Impact" the films went downhill. All they do is show the same skiers doing slow turns in powder, with no progression. They cut in a few WM quotes from old movies and it's just, well...sad.

alot of good US Open coverage, and i nice tribute to Dave Coombs and Mark Andre and all of their skiing, all around good movie for big mountain in general but just ok for park skiing

hows the big sky segment? thats the only reason i want to go. Oh and do they show the crowd after schiller does his switch 1440? Cause I think I was front row.

Warren Miller is def more of a lifestyle movie, and emcopasses many different aspects of skiing. I think that the movies have gone down a bit since WM stopped doing them himself, but he is a really old fart now. I cant wait to see this one...
