There is going to be a showing of Warren Miller's 'Journey' and a special appearance by Glen Plake in Buffalo, NY on January 11th for his Freeskier Magazine Downhome Tour. Glen Plake will have a discussion before the screening and introduce the movie. After the movie Plake will be skiing at a local mountain and later that night there will be a party for him and Freeskier Magazine downtown. You can read about the tour at www.freeskier.com, if anyone is in the local area this is a great chance to ski with one of the greats of our time.

yeah my dad helped set that whole thing up. It should be awesome. He will be skiing at Buffalo Ski Club on sunday then the movie sunday night, then skiing at KB or Holiday on monday.

 
well Schweitzer, i guess you're right, what a homo! I mean, all he ever did was start that freeskiing stuff, push the boundaries of what humans can do with sticks jammed onto their feet, be a generally cool person the whole time, and still be able to rock the old school and keep kicking ass to this day. What a turd.

I thought journey was nothing compared to msp and the lacation segemts weren't all that spectacular.The only good parts were the rails and the snowboarding
