I paid 25$ to see this piece of shit. It is, without question, the worst ski movie I have ever seen. Why?
1)The entire film is one giant commercial. I swear if I heard about the soul of Aspen, or how comfortable the new Jeep Army truck thing is, or saw anymore clips of nature valley bars, I would have walked out. I'd say it is just an advertisment with a bit of skiing.
2) The editing and filming is horrible. The filming is WAY too close. You can't even see the complete body of the rider half the time, and they never show the in-run or out-run of the tricks or lines. Its all edited into a jumbled mess and put to cheesey music to at least try and capture the attention of the spider wearing 40 year olds in the crowd who don't give, and never will give, 2 shits about freeskiing anyway
3) The music is a mix between top 40 poprock and nature soul music. The song with the cooing crow is straight annoying. I swear you could play the soundtrack on a radio station like 97Kiss.fm
4)It seems like, not just the cheesey commentary, but the actual comments of the pro-riders is entirely scripted. They all sound like they are acting it out, and saying things that had to be approved by chrysler and the other lame sponsors, before it could be put in the film. And then when it got to Jeremy Bloom, you'd swear it was like one of those conferences for Middle aged men who have had a mid-life crisis and are trying to get there confidence back. Oh wait... maybe thats what it actually was
So if you are really looking for a way to waste your money.. go see higher ground...I'm betting its on par with BCREW, ready strap blade.
you guys need to chill out and widen your borders. Warren isnt so much about the freestyle skiing but more so the body of skiing. where it came from where its going and places people do it. IF you want some good park riding pick Teddy Bear but this show isnt about the park, its about the culture of skiing and the locations.
just chill.
