Warren miller film

it sucked crazy dick. reasons #1 no warren miller lines or at least the last one thats in every other one at the end, #2 i cant stand jonny mosley, he is the one skier that i want to kick in the balls

i just wish i could have those 2.5 hours and 8 dollars i spent to go watch it. biggest waist ever. that movie was trash. they had like 10 minutes biking 10 minutes with a fucking terrible snowboarding band and 10 minutes sailing, so dumb

i think the most disappointing thing was that warren miller did not say a word throughout the whole film i was super bummed on that. there needs to more action in the snow not in some club with a terrible band.

I agree. Its sad to not here warren millers voice once at all. And then Johnny moseley Narrating it? it was ok though. The movies are gearing more and more towards the people that gasp at a backflip. I still enjoy watching them though

yeah fo sho. and the crowd in my theater was legit retarted. some guy landed a superman frontflip, and people got up and cheered. i was like, oh cool. then some dude (hatviet?) landed a dubs cork 10, and no one said shit

Warren Miller is shot and produced by humans who don't know too much about snow, skiing, snowboarding, or anything above sea level.

Hahahaha, sounds true though, with the way the movie turned out with year.

oh did anybody notice that it didn't say "See you next year, same time, same place" I was super bummed on that, no more warren miller?

so sad that miller didnt say anything, kinda ruined the film for me. who would want to go see a john mosley film? not I!!

Some of his movies just aren't as good as the other ones though. Like Ride wasn't nearly as good as Cold Fusion or Impact, I thought so at least.

i wasnt impressed.... and although the biking was cool, i think they took most of that footy from seasons. and no warren miller... soooo.......

I grew up in the midwest idolizing Warren Miller, S Schimdt, Plake and the other featured atheletes. The line about moving to the mountains and how if you waited you would just be another year older when you did touched my soul. It planted a seed that germinated into a skibum life. The fact that skiing lost a uber talented, humble, kick ass skier and human being for the commercialization and a shitty movie is just one more thing that is fucked about the industry. The fact that somebody would post "the guy who died" instead of taking the time to find out who he was saddens me. I didn't know BP I'd seen him skiing and had probably crossed skin/ski tracks here in Wasangles. Two of my good friends were the first responders on the scene and though the tried valiently to keep Billy from passing away it was not to be. I'm gonna stick with the he died doing what he loved mantra and the fact that it somehow got twisted into shitty ski porn to advertise chevy trucks or who ever the sponsers are is just a fuckedside of the industry like all the ads that pepper this site. So save your money don't see/buy this movie, but never forget Billy and whether you're hitting a kicker throwing funkfish 420 grabs or meadow skipping in fresh pow shit I believe even if your streching your tall t in front of the lodge Billy Poole, Doug Coombs and others that are no longer with us smile down upon you.

yea it wasnt good...but last year i went to go see PLAYGROUND and i thought it was real good, sure its no pbp reasons but i enjoyed it.

Warren Miller was pretty legit until Warren sold the company to the bastards that own it now. Some of the things I've seen in the new WM films make me think those guys haven't skied a day in their lives. I have some of the older WM's (Ride, Cold Fusion, etc.) and their good movies, but these new ones are bullshit.
