Warning! worst GM ever heading to Northstar

Sorry for all you west coast guys but Bill Rock wich was just named COO for Northstar will destroy your parks and ruin grooming. I was the park manager for Snowshoe when he was hired, and quit after one season with him. Among the many lies and stupid things he did one of the worst was. Guys I'm cutting back the park system around here because we are never going to be able to produce any pros from out of here. We only had Tom Wallisch on the team that year.
 
Not as much of an asshole as Jimmy King here at Squaw.
Although I must say he does a damn good job of running the mountain...lulz
 
Bill is the exact opposite, nicest guy in the world. Has no clue what anyone over the age of four wants in the ski industry.
 
i highly doubt this will affect anything. northstar has produced many pros on the snowboard side, they are an spt mountain with a very effective and knowledgeable crew that is industry renowned. they have a killer freestyle team and pro coaches.... theres a huge difference between a mountain in pa and northstar.
 
Yep. Besides the family aspect, the other customers there are for the parks, and parks only. It would be stupid of him to cut back the parks.

Snowshoe is in West Virginina, but that doesn't make much of a difference.

Wallish turned pro after he moved out west and rode PC. Would he have turned pro if he stayed in WV?
 
hahaha yes they are. But seriously any 12 year old can figure out that Northstar is all about the terrain parks, i mean they hosted one of the stops for the Dew Tour like two years ago for slopestyle and pipe. I saw the course and it was perfection, so clean. So i think N* will be fine for now.
