the kid did not go to jail. The kid who got beat up bad would not testify whatsoever. They were gonna charge the attacker with attempted murder.
 
Did make me a litte mad but atleast the guy got up and was walking around. Not like some fight videos where the guy is laying on the ground and gets football kicked in the head and the video ends.
 
What why attempted murder? The kid was never out or anything right? Ive seen way worse fights
 
well it was the initial decision but there would be no friggin way he'd get convicted on that; (1) They agreed to fight (2) the attackers purpose was to kick the others ass, not kill him (3) the defender threw first (4) the attacker stopped and asked if the other guy was done (5) never really hit him hard enough to do serious damage because he wasnt hitting the critical areas (6) he stopped the instant the crowd called it over.
 
Well, it was pretty fucked up he just sat there and punched him in the face/head but like someone said, he wasn't hitting him that hard cause he never really appeared to be knocked out. But I feel like its fight-ethics (at least boxing, mma, most other non-shit heads) to stop punching a person in the face when they're defenseless on the ground.

That being said, the kid did start to try to fight back but the kick/knee to the head was pretty unnecessary. Kid who did the punching is luck he's not in jail for a few years and lucky the kid who he was punching had a thick as skull and wasn't a bitch about it. The dude could have easily pressed charges, but the dipshit who almost beat him to death got lucky, but again, the dude got up after and walked away so he obviously didn't do much damage (or the kid didnt have much to damage).

Overall, I'm surprised no one came in and pulled him off when he was just whaling on his head. Both are lucky that one isn't brain dead and one isn't in jail. Bet they'll get a ton of youtube hits lol

I like fights as much as the next guy, but when you see a guy get KO'd you've gotta go break up the fight. Why didn't anybody step in?

I can tell that kid is a douche because he wasn't wearing a shirt, yet another kid was wearing a sweatshirt, so obviously it was cold.

You see them finish off guys and get KOs but people can still stand up after. If he was hit hard enough that he was flopping around trying to pull up his pants he was hit pretty hard.
 
I think that if two people agree to duke it out there should be legally nothing wrong with it, its a shame you can go to jail for even a simple bar fight these days. Thats some bitch made shit.
 
I think the reason for this is that you don't want a guy like let's say... Mike Tyson fighting a guy the size of Manny Pacquiao. The AC exists for the sole reason of keeping the fight at least size/weight wise fair.
 
If both parties agree to fight, i see no problem with it. On the other hand if some debow muthafucka is rolling around beating the fuck outta everyone he sees he should go to jail.
 
The problem with the if two people agree to fight and they fight what happens when someone gets hurt. Sure, they agreed to fight but with out the athletic commission there the guy that "won" could get sued and shit for damages.

I understand what you are saying but the nature of at least the US sue happy culture is why shit like what happened in that video are considered illegal.
 
Sometimes the initial injuries aren't all that apparent due to adrenaline and swelling not complete yet.
 
I don't get this. It isn't up to the kid on whether or not charges are pressed, the case would be the state vs. the assailant, not the victim vs. the assailant. This is why a lot of times men (or women, w.e.) get charged with domestic abuse and go to prison even though their spouse may forgive them and not want to press charges.
 
I completely agree that it was unnecessary and bitchy to hit him while he was down, but they obviously both agreed to it. The punches were hard, but they don't look THAT bad. The only thing that bothered me was the knee/kick to the face. That shit had no place in this fight.
 
all the people that say he hit like a bitch because the other kid still got up are stupid. You have to snap a persons head to knock them out, not just hit them. He was just punching down on his face and his neck wasnt moving at all. But he probably still did a lot of brain damage...
 
You think this is a recent development? People have been beating the shit out of/killing each other for pretty much forever. Shit, it used to be live entertainment.
 
Anybody who keeps hitting someone while they're down is a pussy, if you're a real man you'll let them back up and if they want to keep fighting cool.
