it was in a small eddy, so not too far but if it was in the main river, there is no way that i would have found it

i just put a piece of blue closed cell foam caulked to the back, you can get it off good enough and it stays afloat well. or use silicon gel if you have it.

1. Tie GoPro facing down onto fishing line about three feet up.

2. Try to catch fish.

3. Catch fish and watch GoPro footage.

So sick, you should send the footage to GoPro themselves. They could advertise with stuff like that. "GoPro; the action sports cam that can roll down a river bed and not glitch or break." Plus the footage is awesome, everything from the fish, the deep, clear water, the wood traveling down, the structure of the river itself, even seeing bed load (process of material moving downstream) was interesting.

i did the same thing last year while white watering kayaking. i was in the eddy and when i tried to eddy out i flipped and lost my schools go pro. it also sucks that they don't float on their own.
