Warmest Layering?

I'm thinking about getting the DNA Moe jacket which is a shell that has a 20,000 waterproof rating. It looks very thin so if any ones in this situation what would you layer with to stay warm?

hoodies are bad, cotton traps moisture, which will make you very cold, you should never wear cotton if you're trying to keep warm while skiing. get underarmour or something like it for your base layer, and then some kind of fleece over that, and you'll be good.

polypro shirt + t-shirt + windstopper fleece + shell. thats for really cold days. sometimes i just ditch the windstopper.

yea, something like that. although you probably wouldn't want the hood if you're gonna wear it under the shell. i have a mountain hardwear chill factor fleece, if that helps at all for comparison.

i used to rock that setup before i got my down jacket. synthetic layer, badass t-shirt (yes being cool is important) duh.

and a session windstopper jacket then my shell.

but now i have a shell for usually everyday use, unless it really cold then i bust out the burton puffy.

i just rock the underarmour and t-shirt with a hoodie then my shell.

the underarmour isnt always necessary tho
