Warm up tricks.

i like throwin my main shit first couple runs. gets me warmed up faster. ( 5's, 7's, all rails)

what do you guys like to warm up with on an early morning park day????

 
straight airs and 180's of jumps just to see if i am feeling it and then i start to move it up slowly as it get softer. rails i jsut got straight into it.

pow days i charge as hard as i can to get as much riding in while it is deep and untracked. of course.
 
first runs 180s strait airs and slide a couple rails. then i go up from there, start trying hard 1-130s after i start in the park.
 
usually start off with some pretzel k-feds off the first few jumps, then endulge in a few spread eagle 360's on multiple rails...progress from there
 
Yeaahhhhh blud :) agree on that shiz. take it stead... then see what the mountains doing... pop a few shiftys on the hips.. couple of butter presses.. jsut see what your feeling, and then if its good.. get learning :)
 
First run i usually just scope out the park, because i ski alta so when i ski brighton/pc i dont know whats setup, how its setup etc etc. So first run i scope the jumps and hit some of the milder jibs and rails. Next run i straight air everything and try and hit everything to get it out of the way.
 
If its cliffs usually all straight air the first one of the day, then the next zones usually a 360 or more straight air depending on the cliff.
 
uh prolly jus a nice carving run with some short radius turns then big GS turns to warm mah musclees up. then i stretch em out. then go to the park.
 
In a comp like cork 7 and then whatever I am going to do.
on a park day like a 3 at my local park or a straight air if its a new jump
 
maybe a calm double cork or kang flip
SERIOUs RUN: check the park out jsut do some grabs to get a feel for the jumps
 
really big double nose goin straight, crank till the skis pop off. but usually i dont like to hit anything first run, just too get a looksie.
 
like shifties on jumps unless im like pumped for some reason and want to try stuff then ill do whatever and just get all the rails scrape any snow off them if there is because im a good person
 
Usually just straight airs on the jumps, looking at them first if they are big. I usually look at rails first and boxes depending on how big they are.
 
lincolns and overflips are some of my go tos

i also hate spinning 360s, so if i dont straight air i will just usually bust a 180 or 7
 
first run i speed check the jump and see if the speed feels right. 2nd run 3's and then i'm all set. I get right into rails
 
i first try out the pizza move, then i quickly progress onto french fries, maybe back to the pizza slice again - then ill try a few turns, fall over a little, then snake the park - and then finally i just chill in the bar at bottom of the slope for the rest of the day... all snuggled and warmed up!
 
first run i check everything landings and such and will do some of the rails second run straight airs with some spread eagles or shifties, then work into threes and up from there
 
i just straight air the smaller jumps and see how the snow is andfor rails i just slide them and prtzl 270s. that usually gets me warmed up.
