Warm Jacket

I'm looking to spend about $200 on a jacket and I want it to be warm. I also want it to have good water proofing.
 
ha, a warm jacket for that price? check out ebay. anything that cheap would pretty much be a shell. if you want something warm, you'd have to get a down jacket, and those are way pricier
 
you can get some north face hyvent stuff for a little more than 200 if you get a good deal. Just look around. Guess you don't have quite the volume of ski shops in PA. My parents actually just moved near Round Top. Sucks for them.
 
any jacket can be warm as long as you layer correctly..but down jackets are the warmest standalone jacket..
 
i dont see why not, if your look for down look at the regulator down by obermeyer i have on and its really nice
 
get one of last years orage master series jackets, u can get a shell for a decent price...its all about layering
